Tenney offers various optional accessories that let you customize your environmental chamber to meet your specific requirements.

Tempguard IV provides thermal protection with alarm system, and digital display of high/low setpoints or actual temperature. Guards against out-of-tolerance temperatures and protects both test specimen and chamber from damage caused by runaway hot or cold conditioning, while functioning
as a failsafe backup against a main temperature controller malfunction.

VersaTenn III digital programmer/controller for temperature, humidity, and altitude environmental test chambers provides full automatic time-related programming. You can enter and store 10 files with 99 steps of programming. Controller has RS-422, 423, or RS-232 computer interface capability. This option is available on the Temperature only Classic Tenney Series, Benchmaster, and Tenney Junior.

VersaTenn V is the touchscreen interface currently used for the Tenney Elite Series Chambers. Data can be gathered from around the globe via the internet, from around the factory floor via Ethernet, and from around the test lab via IEEE-488 and RS-232.

SUBSTITUTE PORTS are larger through-the-wall ports that replace or supplement standard 2in. (5cm) diameter ports. Popular custom diameter are 3in. (8cm), 5in. (13cm), and 6in. (15cm).

ELECTRICAL & THERMOCOUPLE FEEDTHROUGH TERMINALS Electrical feedthroughs are available in sets of 2,3, 8, 12, 18, and 24. Thermocouple feedthroughs come in pairs of 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12. Each set or pair are rated 35 ampheres and up to 2000 volts, and include one outside terminal connected to one inside terminal.

HAND PORTS, GLOVE PORTS permit operator to handle test item without disruption of chamber environment. These ports are normally located on the door, but may be positioned elsewhere on the chamber to meet customer requirements.

DRY AIR PACKAGE allows for the attainment of low humidities down to 5% and dew points below 2°C. The dry air package may also be used as a dry air purge system.

CARTRIDGE DEIONIZER removes minerals from water supply feeding humidifier.

FIVE GALLON RESERVOIR AND RECIRCULATING HUMIDITY WATER SYSTEM for use with humidity chambers, recirculates water to the five gallon reservoir.

REFFRIGERATION TAPS AND PRESSURE GAUGES offer convenience in monitoring refrigeration performance and ease of charging with refrigerant. For Classic Tenney Series only.

CO2 OR LN2 INJECTION SYSTEM for use as back-up to mechanical system for more rapid pulldowns. GN2 PURGE to retard moisture and frost buildup.

6”,10”, AND 12” CIRCULAR CHART RECORDER provides for recording any one or two parameters; i.e. temperature, temperature/humidity or temperature-pressure/ vaccum. These instruments utilize state-of-the-art microprecessor technology, allowing the operator to select a range corresponding to the actual test requirement, thereby, optimizing the resolution and readability of the recording. Chart speed selectable in one hour steps up to seven days.

INTERIOR LIGHT WITH EXTERNAL SWITCH featured on “Classic Tenney Series”. Elite Tenney Series offers a halogen light in the center of the ceiling plenum.

CART for use with Tenney Jr., TH Jr., Benchmaster®, and T-shock Jr. model chambers. CASTERS permit easy transporting.

QUIET PACKAGE insulated door enclosure that mounts directly to the rear of the chamber, minimizes machinery noise when operating test chamber. For Classic Tenney Series only.

STAINLESS STEEL SHELVING complete with pilaster clips for easy adjusting. Number of shelves can be specified to meet test requirements.
